I have been alive since June of 1978 and have learned
and experienced much since then. I began my days in Anacortes, Washington
and soon moved to Virginia, near Washington, D.C. Still longing to
return to Washington State, I was abruptly moved from my new home to Dallas,
Texas, one of the hottest areas of the United States. Living indoors
for nearly all of my time there, I lived from day to day, unsure of what
to do. It was in Texas that I entered college and earned the title
of Bachelor of Computer Science, during a five year stint at the University
of Texas at Dallas. Nearing the end of my college life, I became unfocused
and confused. I did not know where to go or what to do, until a good
friend encouraged me to follow my instincts. So I packed my things
and rushed off to Washington State, determined to reclaim my home.
The trek from Texas to Washington took nearly a week in a small, cramped
car literally stuffed with my belongings. My adventure is detailed
