Tylan Watts

A Nerd for All Occasions

I have been alive since June of 1978 and have learned and experienced much since then.  I began my days in Anacortes, Washington and soon moved to Virginia, near Washington, D.C.  Still longing to return to Washington State, I was abruptly moved from my new home to Dallas, Texas, one of the hottest areas of the United States.  Living indoors for nearly all of my time there, I lived from day to day, unsure of what to do.  It was in Texas that I entered college and earned the title of Bachelor of Computer Science, during a five year stint at the University of Texas at Dallas.  Nearing the end of my college life, I became unfocused and confused.  I did not know where to go or what to do, until a good friend encouraged me to follow my instincts.  So I packed my things and rushed off to Washington State, determined to reclaim my home.  The trek from Texas to Washington took nearly a week in a small, cramped car literally stuffed with my belongings.  My adventure is detailed on an adjoining page known as:

The Western Trek Journal
